Sound design at the heart of The New Vibe concept
Mooders was approached by The New Vibe to participate in a tender to create the sound design for its innovative concept. The New Vibe is a live interactive show that offers unforgettable experiences. An innovative concept that blows the genre out of the water, a quiz wrapped up in a never-before-seen immersive show. Since October 23, 2022, The New Vibe has been on every Sunday at 7:44pm. Smartphone in hand, we answer twelve questions to win unique experiences, such as attending a Stromae concert at Madison Square Garden. The founders, convinced that sound design would be a strategic component for their app, were determined to create original music and customized sound design to give the experience a unique sound right from its launch.
After winning the tender, Mooders worked on a musical DNA, which would carry all the markers expected by the founders of The New Vibe. This track will later become the show’s theme song. Sound design with a strong identity is intended to have a powerful and immediate impact. The aim is to mark the player’s sound environment with character and emotion, making him or her more likely to return to the application if the sound universe has a strong personality and adds value to the overall experience.
