Music and writing
Olivier Bal welcomed us to his home, where the snow was giving his neighborhood in northern Paris an arctic feel. Olivier Bal’s home is also his workplace, where he spends most of his time, and where he has been writing his novels for the past 5 years.
“Without music, I can’t write”.
A large living room, a huge bay window and a fireplace seem to create an ideal context for creation, in music of course. Formerly a journalist, he is now a writer and has published a diptych of two dark fantasy novels, “Les Limbes” and more recently “Le Maître des Limbes”.
“The music I listen to when I write tells the story of my books”.
